Well, I've done it! I've decided to create Random Art of Kindness(RAK). I am so super excited about my little idea. I'm really hoping it will blossom. I have visions of little pieces of art work brightening people's day the whole world over! Tomorrow, I'm going to place my first Random Art Cards for people to find at the local art centre where I work. I'm giddy like a kid on Christmas. Art has brought me such joy, and happiness, and connected me to so many wonderful people that I wanted to share that feeling, and pay-it-forward. If you are visiting my blog, please visit the RAK page, and if you are so inclined, grab a button, share the love and your stories of random acts of kindness, art related or otherwise.
Stay Safe and Love Yourself,
I love RAKs and so happy you're doing them...and with such obvious joy! I made a bunch of little notebooks last week and my 5 year old Granddaughter and I are going to take them to the local mall and then watch secretly as people find them. We'll put a note on the first page letting them know it's a gift. I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming on by! What a beautiful gift you have given to your grand-daughter, to teach her first hand about giving! I bet it is so much fun to see people pick up the little notebooks! My daughter also wants to make some Random Art of Kindness as well. So beautiful to see young people being so selfless.
DeleteGreat idea, and good for you for doing this!

ReplyDeleteA message that stuck in my heart – “Beginning today, treat everyone you meet as if they were going to be dead by midnight. Extend them all the care, kindness and understanding you can muster. Your life will never be the same again.” Practicing random act of kindness could give us a bright life.
